Troop Activities

2000 Camp Out Schedule:

January 22-23
Jalama Beach; drive in camp, day hike, fishing, and Beach/Streams cleanup project.
February 19-20
Mount Pinos; drive/Hike in camp; snow activities and fun play.
March 10-12
Vandenburg AFB; drive in camp, search and rescue training; camporee style activities and games.
April 7-9
Union Oil Picnic Grounds; drive in camp, Santa Maria District Camporee.
May 19-21
Nira/Historic Manzana School House; drive in and backpacking camp, day hike, fishing, and a conservation project.
June 18-20
Mount Pinos (8800'). Friday, base camp at Chula Vista (8300'). Saturday over the peak then down to Sheep camp at 8200'. The roundtrip hike was over 11 miles.
June 17-24
High Adventure Venture Patrol. Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim. Backpacking trip.
July 8-15
Sailing Venture Patrol will spend a week on the Argus Sailing Ship.
July 22-29
Camp Pohatsy - Doner pass. Summer camp.
August 18-20
September 22-24
Cerro Alto, Morro bay Area. Drive in camp; hiking, skills, camp activities
October 21-22
Camp French. Spookeree. Drive in camp.
November 18-19
Cruikshank, north of San Simeon. Backpacking trip.
December 15-17
Pioneer Park; drive in camp, family camp, activities, Pioneering projects, and a conservation project.
